Project Manager 

The Agro Information Centre of Azerbaijan (AIM) is a national, non-governmental, non-political, not-for-profit organization established and registered with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan on 16 November 1999. 

AIM is looking in the frame of tender process for highly competent and motivated professional for the position of Project Manager:  

Duration of the Appointment: 3 years with possible prolongation up to 6 years

Work Location: Agjabedi region, Azerbaijan

Main Tasks and Requirements of the Project Manager

The Project Manager will manage and coordinate the implementation of Rural Development Project in Agjabedi and Beylegan regions with focus on livestock and market development.

This will involve provision of both technical and strategic leadership; ensuring efficient project development and management; ensuring that systems and procedures are in line with required policies, donor and legal requirements.

·        Co-ordinate all aspects of project management and development

·        Ensure effective and efficient financial management of the project

·        Lead the project team in a result oriented and motivating way in order to achieve the expected results and outcomes

·        Ensure effective communication and information flow within the project

Main qualifications: 

·        At least 5 years experience at senior management level in project development and management in Azerbaijan

·        University Degree

·        Experience in agriculture, marketing, economics or related fields and market value chain development

·        Experience in capacity building, local partnerships

·        Result-oriented and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to supervise staff in a participatory way

·        Fluency in English language

·        Computer literate
